What another day of excitement for SERV SSL as we became the proud owners of a new (to us), Landrover Discovery 4×4. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our newest fleet member ‘Michael’, named of course after Saint Michael, the patron saint of police officers. A former Surrey Police vehicle, ‘Michael’ was donated to us by Surrey Police, as part of SERV SSL being the Chief Constable’s Chosen Charity. Presenting the key’s to ‘Michael’, ACC Jon Savell said: “We are pleased to be able to support this charity in the amazing work they do … and will continue to offer assistance where we can.” This amazing donation will ensure that SERV SSL will be able to guarantee its lifesaving service in all weathers. We were fortunate as well to meet Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner David Munro, who expressed his enthusiasm for the work that SERV SSL does (and a liking for our FJR1300 motorbikes).
